“ One of my favorite restaurants in Tampa. I had never had Russian food before and my first time got me hooked and I've since gone back three times. One of those places that you need to bring everyone you know to so they can experience the magic. I've tried the Siberian and khinkali dumplings, both incredible; the chicken shashlik, had to get this one multiple times, just done perfectly and love all the sides that come with it; the entree sample platter, loved it all; the khachapuri, amazing and the little instructional cards on the tables are adorable; and the honey cake with tea, holy **** this was so ******* good. went back by myself on my birthday during a weekday while it was quiet and had the honey cake with tea and read my book lol had a great time. ”

“ Once again another five star meal. Appetizer was the board. It's an assortment o cheese meat bread and toppings. Everything on it was amazing and it's a big appetizer for whole table. Got the chicken kiv. Moist breading on outside great flavor and crisp. Inside full of butter and cheese yum. Cam with a bead of mashed potatoes that were creamy and flavorful. Service is always outstanding friendly and non rushed. A hidden gem ”

The beef stroganoff was good too, but I thought it was really small for the price. The honey cake had the perfect amount of sweetness. This is a very cute place to catch up with some friends and share some food! Will definitely come again! ”

“ Great food and great service. Their main dishes are during dinner time but you can't go wrong with Ana afternoon dish like I did. The chicken shashlik is a great option. Comes with taziki sauce (I think) and potatoes on the side. It's filling. Also the piroshky are really good, but I think the egg ones are the best. ”

“ My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Our server was extremely welcoming and super informative. This was our first time having Ukrainian and Russian food and our server explained each dish and helped us understand the way each dish is commonly eaten. We had several delicious cocktails while there including the samovar spritz, st pete mule, and autumn in Siberia. They were all amazing. We had Khinkali (Georgian dumplings) that were so flavorful full of soupy broth and ground meat with seasonings. My wife and I shared the chicken Kyiv and the beef stroganoff, both were very enjoyable. We finished the meal with a traditional Ukrainian honey cake, which we absolutely loved. The ambiance was relaxing with soft music playing and only natural light coming in through the windows. We will definitely go back! ”

“ Babushka!!!! If my babushka cooked like this wouldn't leave the house. The food is soooooo good. From the infused vodka to the lamb chops, everything was fantastic. When you enter the restaurant it takes you straight to Russia with the music and decor. Our server was awesome and attentive. I will return to try all the other delectables. ”

“ Visiting Babushkas was a great experience, place was cozy and comfortable. Staff were extremely polite and professional, food was served as soon as it was prepared. Friends and I really enjoyed the kebabs and the soup, absolutely delicious Honey cake was good , not a huge fan of the poppyseed roll. There was only 1 thing that really bothered us , that was the flys , they were extremely annoying and one of them ended up in my drink. Other than that I really enjoyed this restaurant and I hope to visit some more . ”

“ We came in tonight and were not sure what to expect. When you walk in you first feel like you are walking into your babushkas house but then the dining room opens up to reveal a nicely decorated dining area with high ceilings. The decoration is very traditional. It gives a warm feeling. There was live music which was nice but made it a little hard to have a conversation. We started with the Adjaruli Khachapuri which was a type of bread shaped like a boat with some yummy melted cheese in the middle and an egg yolk on top. We were unsure what this would taste like because the egg yolk is raw but the waiter explained that you just mix it with the warm cheese and then dip the bread into it. It was tasty and we enjoyed it! As our main entree we all ordered the Chicken Shashlyk which was delicious. There is a tzatziki type of dipping sauce which is so yum! Cocktails were good I ordered Sergey's Strawberry Lemonade and hubby got the Kyiv mule. And we made sure to save room for dessert and ended up sharing the Napoleon between 3 of us. ”
